Upon arrival, I appreciated the 24-hour reception, which was a relief after a long journey. The air-conditioning in my room provided much-needed comfort, though I found myself missing the fresh sea air of Denmark. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, a necessity for planning my next fjord tour. The flat-screen TV, while a nice touch, didn't quite lure me away from my readings on marine habitats. One standout was the complimentary toiletries; These little extras felt more aligned with a luxury stay. While the bar/lounge area was decent for a nightcap, I yearned for more of the local seafood experiences that Norway offers. Alba presents a compelling option for travellers seeking a balance of comfort and practicality-ideal for nature lovers like me who don't want to sacrifice quality for cost.
